Privacy
Your documents stay on your computer.
This policy describes Secure PDF Viewer 1.0 for macOS, Windows, and Linux, and this website. Last updated October 22, 2026.
The app
Secure PDF Viewer runs on your computer. It does not ask you to create an account. Documents you open are read and saved locally. The app does not upload those documents to us.
When you choose Save With Password, the document is encrypted on your computer before it is written to disk. The password you type is used on that computer to encrypt or unlock the file. We do not receive the password, and we cannot reset it.
Annotations are stored in the PDF when you save. A normal save is an ordinary PDF file. A password-protected save is meant to be opened again in Secure PDF Viewer.
What we don’t collect
The app does not include an account, a document library in the cloud, or analytics. We don’t collect your name, your documents, or your passwords through the app.
Support email
If you write to info@ryvont.com, we receive whatever you put in that email. Please don’t attach a confidential PDF or a password. We use the message to answer you, and we don’t use it for advertising.
